Scuba diving is not the only world class activity
in this community. Ft. Lauderdale has a world famous beach plus all the other
amenities that a first class big city has to offer. Strolling along River
Walk, Las O'las and the famous "Strip" (AIA) are worlds apart in culture and
amenities but less than a mile separates them "the way the crow flies".
We have two dive boats in the heart of Ft.
Lauderdale to serve those that are staying in town. The diving is great and
the boats are the best. One boat is dedicated to Snorkeling and the other is a
first class Scuba Diving boat.
Most Ft. Lauderdale locals tend to move to the
north a bit and start their dive excursion in Pompano Beach. Pompano is on the
northern border of Ft. Lauderdale. There is a broader selection of reefs and
wrecks out of Pompano and the parking is often free.
