AMERICAN

Sunk 6-3-1985. The American was built in 1921 at Story Yards in Essex MA. She was a wooden hulled two masted Grand Banks fishing schooner. The American was 125 feet long had a25 foot beam and an 8 foot draft. This wreck is now part of the Atlantic City artificial reef site in NJ. This wreck is excellent for bottom fishing.
