H.M.S. SYLPH
The H.M.S. Sylph was an English warship. She was wrecked in 1815.
According to Shipwrecks in the Americas by Robert Marx she was under
the command of Captain George Dickens and was wrecked on South
Hampton Bar. Marx goes on to report that 115 of her crew perished.
This possible
treasure wreck has never been found.
