BOSTON LIGHTSHIP
According to diver Dave Keller, The Boston was a 128 foot steel
Lightship. She was on display in Gardners Basin, Atlantic City for
almost twenty years before being stripped for sinking. She was sunk
as an artificial reef on January 28, 1994. The wreck now lies on its
port side, on a clay bottom, in 100 feet of water. 26910.442961.8
According to Bill Figley this wreck is loaded with nautical
artifacts. Remember
penetration into any shipwreck should only be done by those with
proper training, experience and
wreck diving equipment.
