BRENTON REEF TOWER
The tower is a former US Coast Guard Light Tower. Its basically a
steel house with concrete and steel legs. The house is 30'x30'x12'
the steel jacketed concrete legs are 87' long. The tower was sunk on
the Shinnecock Reef on January 8 1993. The remains now sit in 82
feet of water. The house is basically intact with the wrecks legs
scattered in the sand. 26287.8 43787.7 Great little
fishing wreck.
