CASSANDRA
The sailing ship Cassandra was built in Mystic CT in 1864 and wrecked on February 5, 1867.
According to Walter and Richard Krotee's book Shipwrecks off the new
Jersey Coast the wreck is no longer in the water. Sand has filled in
around the ship and she now sits on dry beach.
