OBI BARGE This 110'x34'x11'steel barge was originally built for the US Navy
YFN 322 in 1942. Robert Matherson owner of the OBI bar and
restaurant bought the barge for use as a floating deck. He paved its
deck with asphalt and installed fence and party lights. The local
politicians complained and forced Mr Matherson to dispose of his
newly created floating deck. The Barge was donated and sunk as a
reef on June 30 1993. She now sits on he back in 70 feet of water.
This wreck site is also called the Federation Reef. 26777.1 43715.2
