PERSEVERANCE
The Brig Perseverance was wrecked during a severe storm in December
of 1815. According to Walter and Richard Krottee's book Shipwreck
off the New Jersey Coast "Fine china and glassware was found strewn
on the beaches in the vicinity. Her hull remains some distance off
shore and still contains
treasure".
